Steven Kornell was a highly revered and highly worshipped man. All of those within Bay'Onne, both from a religious and from a political standpoint, recognized his authority in their system. Some wished to serve under him, hoping that by doing so, they would either be saved from having to serve in the current war they had with the Seraphim Dynasty, or be spared from his wrath, whichever came first to them. Steven was a highly intelligent man, his IQ having been said to be off the charts while scoring the highest honors and ranks when attending Bay'Onne's military academy.

Not even the worst of storms could keep Seizo Ito from visiting the gravestone. He stood before it now, light rain falling from the heavens and caressing his cheeks while the cherry blossom incense he had placed on the gravestone continued to burn in spite the weather. He kept his head bowed in a solemn, silent prayer, disregarding the rain as if it were a rag. He heard footsteps approach from behind, but still, Seizo kept his head bowed.
"Mind if I join you?"
Seizo turned his head to see a woman with light brown hair and brown eyes walk towards him, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and two incense sticks in the other. He silently nodded in response and watched as she placed the two sticks of incense and the flowers on the gravestone.
"It's been a long time since I've seen you out in the open, Seizo-san."
"Just Seizo, please. You of all p
